CAST 2014 has ended

[SOLD OUT]

The Association for Software Testing is pleased to announce its ninth annual conference, CAST 2014 “The Art and Science of Testing”, to be held in New York, NY, August 11-13. To some, software testing is an outgrowth of engineering, mathematics and physics, while to others, testing is an exploration of psychology, philosophy or sociology. At CAST 2014, conference speakers will share their stories and experiences surrounding software testing, whether bound by rules and laws of science and experimentation, or expressed through creativity, imagination, and artistry.

Join us this summer for our ninth annual conference in downtown New York City at the beautiful Kimmel Center located next to Washington Square Park August 11-13, as we explore the art and science of testing.

I am a professional software tester with 16 years experience. I've tested in a variety of industries and team compositions, however my passion is for the people side of software testing. I enjoy helping other testers to find their passion for testing and to help other team members understand more about testing. I am highly involved in the software testing community worldwide and dedicate time to causes I believe have the potential to improve the industry in a global, community or individual level. I serve the Association for Software testing as the current Vice President, I am a brown belt in the Miagi-Do School of Testing, the coordinator and facilitator for Weekend Testing Australia and New Zealand. I speak at various test conferences, write for test magazines and blog at roadlesstested.com. I am also passionate about diversity in tech and mentor women through the SpeakEasy program.
